How To Download Complete YouTube Playlist Using Internet Download Manager (IDM)

A Playlist is a list of video or audio files that can be played back on a media player sequentially or in random order.

Downloading playlist on youtube to view offline is one of the things i love doing, as it saves you a lot in term of your data because streaming videos on youtube consumes more data. This is also quite helpful sometimes when you have a complete series of video tutorial (e.g PHP).

There are many softwares, browser extensions and plugins which allow you to download video file from the YouTube and you can easily download any kind of a video file from YouTube but if you want to download the whole playlist then most of us would go to each video and download each individual video one by one but this could going to take a much of your time. Assuming there are hundreds of video in the playlist, imagine how much of time it will take to download these videos one by one.

To make this process much more easier, i have put up this tutorial that will show you how to extract all the URL of the videos of a YouTube Playlist and then how to use that URL in downloading complete playlist at once using Internet Download Manager (IDM). So lets begin.

For those who are not used to IDM, IDM is the most popular download manager software which allow you to capture and download files over the internet, you can also download videos from the YouTube using Internet Download Manager but it doesn’t provide you feature to download a complete YouTube playlist.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD YOUTUBE PLAYLIST USING IDM

1. Go to YouTube and then proceed to the playlist which you want to download and then copy the URL of the playlist. Here is a sample Youtube playlist. See below link for more details.
